Der Gendergap ist im Profi-Fussball Alltag. Frauen verdienen zum Beispiel nicht annähernd so viel wie Männer, werden nicht nur an ihrer Leistung gemessen und haben oft die schlechteren Trainingsbedingungen. «A Different Goal» ist ein aktivistisches Vermittlungsprojekt, das sich mit den Herausforderungen mit denen Frauen im Fussball tagtäglich konfrontiert werden, auseinandersetzt.
 

Durch die Gestaltung von elf Fussballtrikots werden unterschiedliche Aspekte der Diskriminierung sichtbar gemacht. Jedes Trikot bringt ein anderes Thema zur Sprache, welches auf oder neben dem Spielfeld eine Rolle spielt. Die Trikots sind mehr als nur Kleidungsstücke. Sie sind Botschafter:innen, die im Alltag oder beim Fussballmatch zum Nachdenken und zur Diskussion anregen sollen. Das Projekt will ein klares Zeichen setzen für mehr Sichtbarkeit, Anerkennung und Gleichberechtigung im Fussball.

A Different Goal

Sich zu schützen ist evolutionär in uns verankert. Unser psychischer Abwehrmechanismus hilft uns Situationen und Erlebtes besser zu verarbeiten und zu überwältigen, trotzdem gibt es Ereignisse die nicht so einfach überwunden werden können. Aus Eigenschutz fangen wir an zu verdrängen und bauen eine unsichtbare Schutzhülle auf. Schutz der hilfreich und zugleich hinderlich sein kann. Bleibt das Erlebte unverarbeitet, verändert sich der anfänglich hilfreiche Schutz in eine falsche Geborgenheit. Diese zunehmende Einengung wird visualisiert durch aufbauende Schutzschichten, welche sich türmen bis hin zur fast totalen Unbeweglichkeit. Die entstehende Lähmung bietet einen Anstoss zur Reflexion ab wann Schutz nützlich oder belastend sein kann.

Kaleidocope, a magazine released twice a year, is a meeting place for a global community of creative minds. The task was to create a book for the celebration of the tenth anniversary of Kaleidoscope. Creating a new concept without any structural limitations.
 

The translation of time has formed the concept of the book. The timeline as reflection and documentation built the base structure of the layout. The images are placed free to give the designers the space they deserve. Also the content defines the visual look of the book through the formats and the relations of the existing images and texts.
 

A reflective cover as an interpretation of review and beginning supports the concept of time.

Kaleidoscope

Creating a narrative, that’s fixed in measurements and binding but filled with variable contents, was the task of this project. My decision fell on the Swiss glaciers. The climate change is a danger for all glaciers. It’s crazy what we have already lost of the glaciers. I wanted to give this important theme a platform.
 

To create depths I show the loss and the decline in the past years and in contrast the beauty of the Swiss glaciers. Also defined by the lecturer was the monochrome color. My decision was to increase the dramatic with a huge contrast of black and white. The impact of the pictures is most beautiful and effective in these colors.

Chairs, once reserved for royalty, are now an essential part of our daily lives. In this project, I explore the design, construction, and functionality of seating furniture. The design process unfolds in five stages: research, analysis, concept development, drafting, and execution. Key aspects of the project include the relationship between people and objects, as well as a focus on material usage and craftsmanship.\
 

This project focuses on designing a chair that will create a cozy and functional space in my room for reading, enjoying coffee, and relaxing. The goal is to create a comfortable, inviting armchair that can be used in different sitting positions, offering ample space for lounging. The use of light wood in the construction will help balance the solid form of the chair, giving it a sense of lightness. The seat will feature a delicately woven surface, creating a contrast that adds visual interest.

The gallery stampa is based in Basel, Switzerland. The assignment was to create a new corporate identity for the gallery.
 

A gallery gives artists space where they can present their work. The aspect of the space has defined my concept for the new identity. My idea builds up from the room shown as abstract lines. The art is in the focus. The line who creates the room is also standing for the support of the gallery without taking any attention from the artworks.

Publisher is a magazine that releases once a year a cover designed by students. Its part of a contest called «Canon graphic art award».
 

The task was to design a cover with the theme «let’s push things forward». My interpretation for the cover includes different ways to push things forward. In the meaning of doesn’t matter how, just do something to reach your goals. In the end I visualized the impact of the actions in different colors and forms to complete the idea.

Das Projekt «Tonioase» wurde im Rahmen des Lichthofmoduls des Bachelorstudiengangs Art Education entwickelt. In Zusammenarbeit mit Kathrin Wolter, Kim Wunderli und Alexandra Schweizer haben wir eine interaktive Rauminstallation im Lichthof des Toni-Areals umgesetzt. Unser Ziel war es, einen Ort der Ruhe zu schaffen, der mit natürlichen Elementen wie Wasser und Licht arbeitet, um eine beruhigende Wirkung in einem ansonsten hektischen Umfeld zu erzeugen.

A company has a lot of useless water and wanted to generate a creative solution to use the excess water. Money doesn’t matter. So let’s be creative and think outside the box. In teamwork, we created the concept of a shower box. Located in multiples Swiss cities you can drop in for an unforgettable shower. With different choosable moods a special experience is guaranteed.
